In a significant gesture, Governor Sule named the newly commissioned estate after Vice President Kashim Shettima, showcasing his administration&#8217;s commitment to technological advancement and economic prosperity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\">During the event, Governor Sule highlighted the inspiration behind the NTV, citing his exposure to Silicon Valley while working at the Dangote Group. He emphasized the project&#8217;s role in leveraging digital innovation to unlock the state&#8217;s potential and foster a self-sufficient economy capable of global competitiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\">Identifying infrastructural development, urban housing, and sustainable housing as key priorities, Governor Sule outlined his administration&#8217;s strategic focus on these areas to drive economic growth and attract investment. He underscored the significance of embracing the digital economy, emphasizing that knowledge and proximity to the Federal Capital must be harnessed to achieve developmental goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\">Governor Sule expressed gratitude to project partners and stakeholders for their support, particularly acknowledging the contribution of ABS Consortium, Modern Shelter, Shelter Afrique, and other collaborators. He also praised Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, whose predecessor, Senator Kashim Shettima, was honored with the naming of the estate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\">In his remarks, Governor Zulum commended Governor Sule&#8217;s visionary leadership and the transformative potential of the NTV project. He emphasized its importance in driving innovation and technological development, leveraging the state&#8217;s abundant mineral resources.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\">Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, hailed the commissioning of the NTV as a timely intervention that would catalyze sustainable development in Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He emphasized the project&#8217;s focus on education and investment as foundations for sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\">Shehu Osidi, Managing Director\/CEO of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), highlighted the bank&#8217;s collaboration with the Nasarawa State Government in financing housing projects. He announced the commissioning of 150 housing units developed by a private company, further demonstrating the bank&#8217;s commitment to housing development in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia','serif';\">The Nasarawa Technology Village project, a Public-private Partnership between the state government, ABS Blueprint Consortium, and Modern Shelter, aims to promote ICT skills development and nurture innovation.
