Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has unveiled plans to enhance progress and development in the state through the establishment of a new ministry, the Ministry of Innovation Science & Technology. The Commissioner designate for this newly created ministry is Dr. Adeniyi Helen Aderibigbe, with Mr. Atuluku Levi Victor appointed as the Commissioner designate for the Ministry of Transportation.<\/p>\n
In addition, the Ministry of Education, Science & Technology has been renamed as the Ministry of Education. The Governor also made key appointments, with Aishat Oyiza Omede appointed as the Director-General of the Kogi State Social Investment Program Agency, and Afolabi Joseph Raji as Chairman of the Kogi State Scholarship Board.<\/p>\n
Other notable appointments include Engr. Yunusa Aminu Alhassan as the Managing Director of the Kogi State Road Maintenance Agency (KOGROMA), Barr. Moses Okezie Okafor as the Director-General of Research & Development, and Paul Peter Jibrin as the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Science, Technical Education and Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM).<\/p>\n
