This announcement was made on Sunday during a service in which Jimmy also took the prestigious job of Chairman of the Church&#8217;s Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Taiwo Odukoya&#8217;s death on August 7 in the United States was a terrible loss for the church and its community. However, during this period of change, the church has found a leader in Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, who will take over as senior pastor on September 30.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This announcement was delivered to the congregation by a Trustee member, eliciting cheers and clapping from the congregation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Having received his education at Oral Roberts University in the United States, Jimmy Odukoya is well-prepared to take on the responsibilities of leadership within the Fountain of Life Church.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in a move to reinforce the church&#8217;s leadership team, Tolu Odukoya Ijogun, Jimmy&#8217;s sister, has been appointed as the new associate Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jimmy Odukoya, the first son of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, has been officially recognised as the new General Overseer of the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos.
