The EFCC reportedly invited him to respond to inquiries concerning the disbursement of the alleged funds during his administration.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, Ahmed, who governed Kwara state from May 2011 to May 2019, is actively participating in the ongoing investigation. This development follows a previous questioning in May 2021, where he faced inquiries related to the alleged diversion of approximately N9 billion from the state&#8217;s coffers.
