Similarly, Emerald Sleet, associated with North Korea, focused on researching think tanks and experts related to the regime, as well as generating content for potential online phishing campaigns.<\/p>\n

Crimson Sandstorm, linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, employed ChatGPT for programming and troubleshooting malware, along with seeking tips to evade detection.<\/p>\n

OpenAI acknowledged that while the threat posed by these malicious actors is limited, proactive measures are necessary to stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape.<\/p>\n
