He stressed the critical role of traditional leaders in calming public discontent, acknowledging the responsibility of new governors to address the escalating crisis.<\/p>\n
Acknowledging the recent protests in Minna, Kano, and Ondo against the rising cost of living, the Sultan underscored the gravity of the situation. He rejected the assumption that all is well, cautioning against taking Nigerians’ quietness for granted. The Sultan called for proactive measures to engage the millions of unemployed youths by providing gainful employment to avert further crises.<\/p>\n
