Addressing his colleagues, he highlighted the perilous situation, asserting that the nation, particularly the North, is on the brink due to widespread unemployment and food scarcity.<\/p>\n<p>The Sultan emphasized the urgent need to address the challenges of poverty and insecurity, identifying them as the two primary issues threatening the country&#8217;s stability. He stressed the critical role of traditional leaders in calming public discontent, acknowledging the responsibility of new governors to address the escalating crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Acknowledging the recent protests in Minna, Kano, and Ondo against the rising cost of living, the Sultan underscored the gravity of the situation. He rejected the assumption that all is well, cautioning against taking Nigerians&#8217; quietness for granted. The Sultan called for proactive measures to engage the millions of unemployed youths by providing gainful employment to avert further crises.<\/p>\n<p>While discussing the nation&#8217;s current state, he absolved President Bola Tinubu, attributing the challenges to the continuity of the previous administration&#8217;s policies.
