{"id":1944,"date":"2023-09-13T14:31:24","date_gmt":"2023-09-13T14:31:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=1944"},"modified":"2023-09-13T14:50:26","modified_gmt":"2023-09-13T14:50:26","slug":"breaking-gov-sanwo-olu-swears-in-commissioners-special-advisers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2023\/09\/13\/breaking-gov-sanwo-olu-swears-in-commissioners-special-advisers\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: Gov Sanwo-Olu Swears in Commissioners, Special Advisers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Azi Elizabeth Ogochukwu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, swore in\u00a0 commissioners and special advisers into the state cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja, featured the inauguration of the governor\u2019s cabinet for his second tenure in office.<\/p>\n<p>The Lagos State House of Assembly, after some serious scrutiny, had confirmed 38 nominees for the governor\u2019s cabinet, with the last one, Tolani Akibu, being affirmed less than 24 hours before the swearing-in ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The sworn-in State Executive Council members are: Mr Layode Ibrahim, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, Dr Dolapo Fasawe, Bola Olumegbon, Mr Idris Aregbe, Ms Abisola Olusanya, Mr Moruf Fatai, Mr Kayode Bolaji-Roberts, Engr. Abiola Olowu, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, Dr Oreoluwa Finnih-Awokoya, Mr Yakub Alebiosu, Mr Lawal Pedro SAN, and Mr Tunbosun Alake.<\/p>\n<p>Others are Mr Gbenga Oyerinde, Dr Adekunle Olayinka, Dr Jide Babatunde, Mr Afolabi Ayantayo, Mr Tokunbo Wahab, Mr Olakunle Rotimi-Akodu, Mr Jamiu Alli-Balogun, Mr Abdulkabir Ogungbo, Dr Afolabi Tajudeen, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi, and Prof Akin Abayomi.<\/p>\n<p>Others include Dr Oluwarotimi Fashola, Mrs Folashade Ambrose-Medem, Mrs Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, Mrs Bolaji Dada, Mrs Barakat Bakare, Mr Olugbenga Omotoso, Mr Mosopefoluwa George, Dr Yekini Agbaje, Dr Olumide Oluyinka, Mr Abayomi Oluyomi, Dr Iyabode Ayoola, Sola Giwa, and Tolani Akibu.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Azi Elizabeth Ogochukwu Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, swore in\u00a0 commissioners and special advisers into the state cabinet.
