This comes amidst the departure of multinational pharmaceutical companies from the country.<\/p>\n<p>These approved applications, selected from a total of 143, comply with the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and NAFDAC&#8217;s GMP for Medicinal Products Regulations 2021.<\/p>\n<p>According to NAFDAC&#8217;s Director General, Mojisola Adeyeye, 35% of the approved facilities have completed construction and are progressing through the registration stages as per NAFDAC&#8217;s guidelines for pharmaceutical plant establishment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"w-full text-token-text-primary\" data-testid=\"conversation-turn-519\">\n<div class=\"px-4 py-2 justify-center text-base md:gap-6 m-auto\">\n<div class=\"flex flex-1 text-base mx-auto gap-3 md:px-5 lg:px-1 xl:px-5 md:max-w-3xl lg:max-w-[40rem] xl:max-w-[48rem] group\">\n<div class=\"flex-shrink-0 flex flex-col relative items-end\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"pt-0.5\">\n<div class=\"gizmo-shadow-stroke flex h-6 w-6 items-center justify-center overflow-hidden rounded-full\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has announced the approval of 105 applications for the establishment of drug manufacturing facilities across Nigeria.
