Among them is a 42-year-old man caught transporting a large quantity of opioid pills to an insurgent stronghold in Borno State&#8217;s Banki area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the agency detained a six-month-pregnant woman, a mother of three, and three other women during major interdiction efforts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, these operations resulted in the confiscation of over 7,609 kilograms of various illicit drugs in eight states.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The most significant seizure occurred in Nasarawa State, where NDLEA operatives intercepted a truck with registration Lagos JJJ 64 YC. The vehicle was transporting 367 jumbo bags of cannabis sativa, weighing a total of 4,037 kilograms.
