The twelve newly elected members of the House of Representatives have been sworn in during Thursday’s plenary session, with Speaker Tajudeen Abbas administering the oath of office.<\/p>\n
These elections followed by-elections and reruns conducted by INEC in various federal constituencies across the country.<\/p>\n
Some lawmakers were removed by the Court of Appeal, prompting reruns in certain constituencies.<\/p>\n
The newly sworn-in members include:<\/p>\n
1. Umar Garba (Ngaski\/Shanga\/Yauri Federal constituency of Kebbi state – APC)
\n2. Ifeoluwa Ehindero (Akoko North East\/North West of Ondo state – APC)
\n3. Faud Laguda (Surulere 1 federal constituency of Lagos state – APC)
\n4. Saleh Zock (Kachia\/Kangaroo federal constituency of Kaduna state – APC)
\n5. Daniel Ago (Jos North\/Bassa federal constituency of Plateau state – LP)
\n6. Yusuf Tafoki (Faskari\/Kankara\/Sabuwa of Katsina state – APC)
\n7. Mohammed Jajere (Fune\/Fune federal constituency of Yobe state – PDP)<\/p>\n
9. Emma Udo (Ikono\/Ini federal constituency of Akwa Ibom state – YPP)
\n10. Emil Inyang (Akamkpa\/Biase Federal constituency of Cross River State – APC)
\n11. Peter Uzokwe (Nnewi North\/Nnewi South federal constituency of Anambra state – YPP)
