Bolarinwa Atilade, vice chairman of Unistar Hi-teck System, a local meter manufacturing firm, highlighted the challenges faced by manufacturers, including the impact of the high foreign exchange rate on imported materials. He emphasized the need for collaboration between the government and stakeholders to address these challenges effectively.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, consumers subjected to estimated billing shared their grievances, citing escalating bills despite reduced electricity consumption. Many expressed frustration over the lack of prepaid meters and the arbitrary nature of estimated billing, which hampers their ability to plan effectively, both personally and in business.<\/p>\n
