{"id":1828,"date":"2023-09-11T14:11:54","date_gmt":"2023-09-11T14:11:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=1828"},"modified":"2023-09-11T14:11:54","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T14:11:54","slug":"4-killed-others-arrested-as-police-raid-kidnappers-den-in-kaduna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2023\/09\/11\/4-killed-others-arrested-as-police-raid-kidnappers-den-in-kaduna\/","title":{"rendered":"4 Killed, Others Arrested As Police Raid Kidnappers&#8217; Den in Kaduna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Udo E.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has confirmed the neutralization of four suspected kidnappers and the arrest of thirteen others in recent operations.<\/p>\n<p>The operations took place in response to intelligence reports about the suspects&#8217; criminal activities in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The acting Public Relations Officer of the command, ASP Manir Hassan, disclosed that the suspected kidnappers were killed during gun battles at various locations in Kaduna State. Among the arrested suspects is one Auwal Saidu, a private security guard, who allegedly orchestrated the abduction of his employer from their residence. Saidu and his gang members reportedly demanded and received a ransom of N10 million before releasing the victim.<\/p>\n<p>Items recovered from the suspects during the operations include two AK-47 rifles, three locally made revolvers, two motorcycles, 15 live cartridges, and bags of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>ASP Manir Hassan stated that all the arrested suspects would be charged in court once all investigations are completed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Udo E.
