Victims kidnapped by armed bandits in Tashar Nagulle and Nahuta villages, Batsari Local Government Area, were rescued from Dumburum Forest after intense gunfire between soldiers and the bandits.<\/p>\n
Brigadier General O.A Fadairo, Commander of the 17 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, handed over the victims to the Governor at the Katsina State Government House.<\/p>\n
Expressing gratitude to Allah for the safe rescue without any casualties, the Governor emphasized progress in combating banditry, with many terrorists killed and their camps destroyed, along with the recovery of numerous weapons.<\/p>\n
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, stated that the State Government is providing free medical care to banditry victims, support to security agencies, and educational assistance to children orphaned by terrorist attacks.<\/p>\n
