The manager of the English Championship side Watford FC Valerien Ismael has revealed the reason the club acquired the services of the Nigeria International Emmanuel Dennis, Abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/ reports.<\/p>\n
The Hornets announced the arrival of the Nigerian winger on loan from Nottingham Forest after spending the first stanza of the season with the Turkish Super Lig side Istanbul Basksehir.<\/p>\n
“He knows the club and he wanted to come,\u201d said Ismael on Dennis’s arrival.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe put a great mentality into the deal to make sure he can come to join us. He\u2019s making a lot of sacrifice, which shows big mentality and that\u2019s why we\u2019re pleased that he\u2019s in.\u201d<\/p>\n
I know him very well for his capability to adapt his pace and his quality in one-v-ones,\u201d said Ismael.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe put our attacking players in good positions all the time and sometimes we\u2019re just missing the last pass or the final decision-making. We expect him to bring more calmness and ruthlessness in the opposite box.\u201d<\/p>\n
We were more targeting a number nine at that point,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are taking Dennis now because we knew that we needed more pace on the wings and he is someone who can play all the three forward positions.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is suitable for us due to the position we were seeking and the experience and quality he has. He has versatility and he brings the profile we need.<\/p>\n
