Speaking to newsmen in Akure on Wednesday, NSCDC Public Relations Officer Daniel Aidamenbor clarified that while the complete deployment of personnel is yet to occur, intelligence teams have been strategically placed to monitor and assess the situation, ensuring a secure electoral process.<\/p>\n

Aidamenbor emphasized that the primary objective is to prevent any security breaches during the election, highlighting the importance of a peaceful voting environment. The State Commandant, Oluyemi Ibiloye, conducted a strategic meeting with senior management staff, field commanders, and officers to coordinate efforts for a successful election in the designated areas.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson disclosed that Ibiloye engaged in inter-agency meetings with various stakeholders to discuss security measures for voters and safeguarding election materials. He assured the public that all relevant parties, including politicians, election officials, and security agents, are collaborating to guarantee a secure and violence-free House of Representatives by-election in Akoko North-East and Akoko North-West Constituency.<\/p>\n
