Aliyu, while addressing a delegation from the Civil Society Legislative Centre (CISLAC) during a courtesy visit to the ICPC headquarters, assured Nigerians that the Commission, under his leadership, would adhere to the law and national best practices in combating corruption.<\/p>\n

The chairman underscored his commitment to promoting ethical justice and maintaining the reputation and integrity for which ICPC is known. He asserted, “We will not tolerate any corruption within the Commission. Whatever we are going to do, we will ensure that we do it logically.”<\/p>\n

Aliyu acknowledged the vital role civil society organizations, such as CISLAC, play in holding agencies like ICPC accountable through demands for transparency. He expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts with CSOs, emphasizing that ICPC would continue initiatives like Constituency and Executive Projects Tracking Initiatives (CEPTI) and System Studies and Review.<\/p>\n

Executive Director of CISLAC, Mr. Auwal Musa Rafsanjani, highlighted the purpose of the visit as an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between CISLAC and ICPC.
