In a recent development, some residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, are facing a blackout due to technical issues reported by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AEDC).<\/p>\n
The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has announced a power outage in Gwarimpa, the Nation\u2019s capital<\/p>\n
The company disclosed this in a notice through its official X account on Friday night.<\/p>\n
AEDC attributed the outage to a technical fault in the 15 MVA, 33\/11kV Power Transformer at 1 x15 MVA, M44 Charley Boy Injection<\/p>\n
Areas affected are Roads 63, 64, 69 and environs, lya Kasuwa and environs, Adkan Estate, Gwarinpa and environs.<\/p>\n
The DisCo said the affected locations will be out of power for more than 72 hours.<\/p>\n
Similarly, the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Plc informed its customers that the outage experienced in the Rivers State capital since Thursday was \u201cdue to loss of supply from Afam 132KV line<\/p>\n
The areas affected include Port Harcourt Town, PH Main and Rumuosi Transmission Stations.<\/p>\n
