The appeal aims to overturn the November 23, 2023, decision of the Court of Appeal, which reversed the election tribunal&#8217;s earlier ruling removing Governor Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n<p>The Court of Appeal deemed the tribunal&#8217;s reliance on legally inadmissible evidence as grounds for nullifying Sule&#8217;s election and declaring Ombugadu the winner of the March 18 governorship election.<\/p>\n<p>Following concluding arguments from the legal representatives of the involved parties, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, leading a five-member Supreme Court panel, announced the reservation of judgment.
