It was reported by Abujacityjournal<\/em> correspondent that the\u00a0 incident occurred at Lagos Street in the Garki village area of Garki II district in Abuja.<\/p>\n The building in question accommodated numerous apartments, with shops occupying the ground floor.<\/p>\n According to reports, thirty-seven 37 individuals have been successfully rescued and taken to the hospital, while others remain trapped within the wreckage. Rescue efforts are underway, with a team of responders and first responders on the scene since 2am.<\/p>\n As of now, 37 individuals have been evacuated to hospitals, including two with severe injuries. The ongoing rain has slightly hampered the rescue operation’s speed.
