Supporters of the Super Eagles have expressed disappointment at the team\u2019s preparation after their 2-0 loss to Guinea in their last test game for the tournament in Abu Dhabi on Monday.<\/p>\n
Musa, while speaking to NFF TV, called on Nigerians not to lose their trust in the team.He said, \u201cEverybody is excited and waiting to go to Abidjan. After the last game in Uyo, when the campaign started, we told ourselves to go there to shine. We can see all the quality in the squad, and we can\u2019t say otherwise.In football, anything can happen, but we have confidence.<\/p>\n
Musa and Ahmed Musa are the only members of the current squad who were part of the AFCON-winning squad 11 years ago. The duo could become the first players in Nigeria\u2019s history to win the AFCON twice.<\/p>\n
The Super Eagles\u2019 first game at the tournament is against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, January 14, at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan.<\/p>\n
