They told us to appear on Friday for the judgment.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>They told us that each party should not have more than two counsels in attendance. This, they said, is because they will be delivering seven judgments on the same Friday,\u201d he added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Governor Abba Yusuf had appealed the judgment of the Court of Appeal which had affirmed his sacking by the state election petition tribunal.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The tribunal also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to issue a certificate of return to Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the March, 2023 election.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On its part, the appeal court, while affirming the governor\u2019s sack, further held that he was not an NNPP member as of the time of the election and could not have been said to be properly sponsored for the election.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Supreme Court will deliver judgment on the Kano State governorship election appeals on Friday.
