The Hi-Tech unmanned water vessels are expected to play a crucial role in the fight against insecurity, particularly in the Niger Delta, Lake Chad region, and other maritime areas of the country. The minister emphasized that the collaboration with US companies could extend to the local production of military hardware in Nigeria, involving the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON).<\/p>\n
During his visit to the US, Matawalle inspected various facilities, including rapid deployment mobile RADAR systems, drone ground control stations, compact biometric search-scan systems, and the unmanned water vessels presented to President Tinubu.
