In its release on Thursday in Abuja, NiMet anticipates a mild dust haze on Friday in the northern region during the forecast period. Over the North Central region, the agency predicts a continuous occurrence of sunny and hazy weather throughout the forecast period.<\/p>\n
The forecast extends to the southern inland cities, where NiMet envisions clear skies with sporadic cloud cover in a hazy atmosphere. Coastal cities in the south are expected to experience sunny conditions, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Ogun, Edo, Ondo, Lagos, Delta, Rivers, and Bayelsa states in the afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n
Moving into Saturday, NiMet predicts a slight dust haze over the north and the North Central region during the forecast period. In the southern inland cities and coastal areas, the agency expects a mixture of few clouds in a hazy atmosphere, with the likelihood of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Ogun and Lagos State in the morning. Additionally, there is a forecast of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Ondo State, Ogun, Lagos State, Rivers, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, and Delta in the afternoon and evening period.<\/p>\n
