Rabiu conveyed this commitment during a conversation with State House Correspondents following a visit to President Bola Tinubu in Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Previously, in September, BUA Cement had announced a price reduction from N5,500 to N3,500 per bag, initially scheduled to take effect from October 2nd, 2023. Despite concerns arising from the delayed implementation, Rabiu emphasized BUA&#8217;s determination to ensure the accessibility and affordability of their product for customers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He explained, &#8220;The price that we have set will be N3,500 per bag, x factory of course plus VAT and then delivered to customers depending on the region.&#8221; Rabiu acknowledged the pricing variations based on delivery distance and location, highlighting the company&#8217;s commitment to keeping its promise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Rabiu shared insights into the anticipated inauguration of the Sokoto cement factory in January 2024, which is expected to contribute to a combined annual production volume of about six million tonnes.
