This week, the market’s benchmark performance indicator surpassed the 72,000 marks, while the year-to-date (YtD) return climbed to an impressive +41.38%. At the close of trading on Thursday, December 14, the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) All-Share Index (ASI) and Market Capitalization rose from the preceding day’s 72,299.79 points and N39.563 trillion to 72,455.83 points and N39.649 trillion, respectively.<\/p>\n
Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank led the gainers, contributing to Thursday’s market surge with its share price rising from N2.34 to N2.57, marking a 9.83% increase. Following closely was John Holt, whose share price rose from N1.85 to N2.03, representing a gain of 9.73%. Ikeja Hotel also experienced a rally, climbing from N4.35 to N4.75, an increase of 9.20%, while E-Tranzact International showed positive movement, rising from N6.50 to N7, a 7.69% gain.<\/p>\n
