Dotun Olakunri, the Executive Producer, emphasized that “Love and Life” transcends mere entertainment, describing it as a narrative tapestry intricately woven with passion and commitment. Directed by Reuben Reng, the film delves into the healing dynamics of supportive friendships within romantic relationships and everyday existence.<\/p>\n
Centered around three middle-aged women, the movie unfolds the triumphant narrative of how sisterly bonds empower them to overcome challenges in both love and business. It uniquely explores the impact of love-life hurdles on individuals and their strategies for navigating such situations.<\/p>\n
According to Olakunri, “Love and Life” stands apart from conventional love stories, delving into the multifaceted aspects of love, grief, and everyday challenges. He emphasized the significance of togetherness and friendship in overcoming life’s adversities.<\/p>\n
Bringing together experienced and emerging talents proved to be a challenge, especially relocating the cast from Lagos to Abuja where the film is set. However, the inclusion of real-life friends Rita Dominic, Nse Ikpe-Etim, and Michelle Dede, lent authenticity to the on-screen relationships.<\/p>\n
Scheduled for release on Prime Video on December 29, Olakunri urged Nigerians to foster healthy relationships that serve as pillars during life’s trials.
