President Bola Tinubu has been asked to insist that his cabinet members and other appointees give an account of their performance in office every six months.<\/p>\n
A cleric, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, who gave the admonition said such appraisal will help the president and those working with him to serve Nigerians better.<\/p>\n
Olu-Alo, who is a member of the Christ Apostolic Church, Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, stated this during the Adamimogo global convention of the ministry with the theme \u201cWeep No More\u201d.<\/p>\n
He said leaders with good intentions should assign responsibilities to people who have the capacity to make the country develop.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe problems is that people are being appointed without\u00a0 giving account of their stewardship. Like the story of the unprofitable servant in the bible who failed to make use of the\u00a0 talent given to him like others, it was collected from him.<\/p>\n
\u201c40 percent of those appointed by the president to work with him may not really share the president\u2019s vision, that is the reason why the president must assess them so that they will be successful in their respective positions.<\/p>\n
God told me if our leader refused to assess and appraise them from time to time, his government may not live up to the expectation of the people who voted him into power. He has good intentions and plans for Nigerians but failure to assess those working with him properly may work against his government\u00a0 moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
Olu-Alo who also spoke on the 2024 budget, said, \u201cIn my own view, the\u00a0 N27.5 Trillion 2024 budget is good but there are no funds to finance it as far as i\u2019m concerned. That is the reason I said he closely monitor the projects to be embarked upon.\u201d<\/p>\n
