Betta Edu, minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation, says David Oyedepo, the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, prayed for her to become a minister.<\/p>\n
Edu spoke on Friday night during the \u2018hour of visitation\u2019 at the ongoing Shiloh 2023 holding at Canaaland, Ota Ogun State<\/p>\n
Shiloh is an annual programme held by the church in the first week of December.<\/p>\n
Edu said she had prayed during Shiloh in 2022 for God to make her a federal minister<\/p>\n
Last year at Shiloh 2022, I prayed and told God that by the next time I come for the next year\u2019s Shiloh, I want to be a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn the last day of Shiloh, just as I was walking out, I saw Papa, Bishop David Oyedepo, and I went to greet him and meet him as usual and I whispered to him, \u2018Papa, I need you to pray for me. I have just one prayer request now\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd he said, \u2018What is it?\u2019 I said, \u2018I want to come back to Shiloh 2023 as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria\u2019.<\/p>\n
He put his hand on my head and he said, \u2018It is done\u2019. I stood up and I left.<\/p>\n
\u201cI came today to return all glory to God that in spite of all odds, today I\u2019m a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. One of the youngest in the fourth republic.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople my age are not at the federal executive council of Nigeria in this fourth republic. But today, I can boldly stand here to say, \u2018God did it\u2019. I came to return all glory to God.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
